​Task Referral Overview (Support Request)

  • There are many tasks that can be referred to be completed by an administrator. These items are listed in article 11.1 of the CBA.

  • How to Refer a Task

    • In the CAVA SharePoint, go to Central Office -> Support Requests. Please be sure to read the CAVA Directions and Materials linked at the top of the page for all steps and documents required, then click new item to submit your request.

Work Record Task Referral (Support Request)

  • One of the tasks you can refer (request support) to have completed by an office staff member is the retrieval and/or uploading of your work records.

  • How to Refer the Retrieval and/or Uploading of your Work Records 

    • In the CAVA SharePoint, go to Central Office -> Support Requests -> CAVA Directions and Materials -> Request for Support to Retrieve and Upload Work Samples. Please be sure to read the CAVA Directions and Materials linked at the top of the page for all steps and documents required, then click new item to submit your request.

  • Under “Search by” change it to “Organization Name”.

  • Type in “California Virtual Academy” then click “Search”.

Determine What Extra Pay Is For

  • Sometimes employees receive compensation from CAVA outside of scheduled paychecks and may not be sure what the pay is for. You can view this information in TimeStar.

    • Log into your Insperity account

    • Click Time and Attendance (on the left hand menu)

    • Look under Daily Procedures -> Data Entry, click on Dollars.

    • If you click on the edit icon (pencil), you will be able to see the notes that HR has entered for the extra pay on the Extra Duties line.

    • You can change the pay period at the top to view any previous pay periods.
